Artemis Fowl Chapter 1 Summary


Chapter 1: "The Book" Summary

Summary:


We first meet Artemis Fowl in Ho Chi Minh City, where he and his bodyguard, Butler, are waiting for an informant. With the information form their informant, Artemis and Butler go in search of a secretive healer with a green hand. Once they reach this healer, who happens to be a sprite/fairy, Artemis offers to return her magic and heal her in exchange for looking at her magic book. The sprite agrees as Artemis has the antidote to the poison he tricked her into taking, and so Butler takes a picture of every page in the book, then forwards the pictures to the Fowl manor in Dublin, Ireland.
