Part 1: "Flock Fright" Summary

Summary:

 

Meet the Flock: Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel. A group of genetically engineered human-avians living on their own. They were created in a lab called “the School,” but escaped when one of the scientists, Jab Batchelder, helped them run away. With Jeb gone (and presumed dead), Max leads the Flock. When the Flock goes out one day to pick strawberries, they are attacked by Erasers, half man-half wolf hybrids, who kidnap Angel. Despite the Flock’s best efforts, Angel is taken by the Erasers back to the school. Max and the Flock are determined to rescue her and so begin planning their rescue mission.
