Part 3: "School--What Could Be Scarier Than That?" Summary
Pages 159-212
Summary:
Max catches up with Fang and Nudge above Lake Mead and is surprised to find Iggy and Gazzy there as well. After everyone catching each other up on what had happened since they all split, the Flock members continue on their mission to rescue Angel. Along the way, the take money from a rude man after he forgot to sign off his ATM transaction and “borrow” a van to drive them closer to the School. But as they are nearing the area of the School, the Flock members stop for food and are attacked by Erasers. The Erasers finally catch them in a corn field, though Iggy and Gazzy escape. Max, Fang, and Nudge are then taken to the School where they find Angel alive and discover that Jeb is still alive. Jeb tells Max that it is her job to save the world and then sends Max, Fang, Nudge, and Angel off to be killed by the Erasers. During the fight, Iggy and Gazzy reappear with the hawks from above Lake Mead who help distract the Erasers enough for the whole Flock to escape.
